Nick’s adaptation of Jekyll and Hyde is being performed by the Green Theatre Company, an amateur youth theatre company based in Surrey, on the 17th, 18th and 19th of March.
Performed inside the John Bunyan Church, Kingston, this semi site-specific production, directed by Rod Henderson (Betrayal, CornerHOUSE and Outrageous Fortune, Arts In The Park 2015), demonstrates the good and evil that exists in all of man. Dr Jekyll embarks on a quest to rid the world of the dark part of man, but ends up unleashing a beast.
Sinister, dark and creepy, this play is part Victorian melodrama and part police murder mystery. Following the investigation by Inspector Newcomen into a series of unexplained and unusually violent deaths, we wind up on the doorstep of the good Dr Jekyll. But is all as it seems?
Tickets (unreserved seating) cost just £8/£6 concession and are available
