The Benji and Nick Show – Z Cars

In the next The Benji and Nick Show, Benji, Nick and regular guest Shelley, have been watching the opening episode of Z Cars (pronounced ‘zed cars’). Z Cars is a British police procedural television series centred on the work of mobile uniformed police in the fictional town of Newtown near Liverpool. The series differed sharply from earlier police procedurals with its less-usual northern England setting, and by adding a new element of harsh realism into the image of the police.
